Losing a pet is incredibly painful, as they become part of our family. Reddit user sayruhOB and her family recently faced this heartbreak when they had to say goodbye to their cherished 12-year-old dog. The decision was tough, and the grief was overwhelming for both OP and her husband.
The day after their loss, a cousin’s graduation party provided a brief opportunity to distract their children from the sadness. However, amidst the hectic preparations, OP’s husband decided to nap at an inconvenient time, leaving her to manage everything alone. Feeling overwhelmed, she asked him to wait until after the party, but he insisted, saying he needed to grieve. Exhausted from cleaning and organizing, OP felt it was unfair not to receive any support.
