50 Times Mechanics Reached Their Breaking Point and Exposed the Real Struggles of the Job

The motor carriages we rely on for our daily commutes, commonly known as ‘cars,’ have become a necessity. Not owning one can make life quite inconvenient. We depend on these vehicles heavily, often expecting them to run smoothly for years without proper maintenance, but we all know that’s far from the truth. Like any machine, our metal companions need regular care and attention from time to time, and for that, we need expert mechanics. After all, not everyone can fix everything, and that’s perfectly understandable.

Sometimes, a car might just need a simple cleanup, but diagnosing the real issue can be tricky—especially for someone with limited knowledge of a vehicle’s inner workings. There are even moments when people rush to a mechanic without even knowing the time of day, simply because they desperately need help fixing their car.

That’s where the subreddit community, r/JustRolledIntoTheShop, comes in. Mechanics gather there to share some of the wildest car encounters they’ve experienced, and they’re downright hilarious! Some of the situations are so obvious and ridiculous, that you can’t help but laugh, lol.
